My Hometown "WatanSoppeng"

Watansoppeng is my lovely hometown. I was born in there. Watansoppeng is lies about 200 meters on surface of the sea in South Sulawesi. Watansoppeng is one of the regency in South Sulawesi Province. There is only one wayif you want to get there from makassar. We can get there by lend transportation, whether by car, bus, or motorcycle. From makassar city, we taken a trip for 4 to 5 hour by private or public transportation. The distance is about 160 kilometers. There are so many various things that we can find in Watansoppeng.

        Firstly, I want to tell you all. As I know, Soppeng is one of the mysterious city in Indonesia because Soppeng has a lot of bats and strangely those bats can only find in centre of town, rightly in the trees. And those bats envelop the trees as if the bats became the leafs of those trees. If you pass the bat trees, you will be surprised because you will be smell the terrible smell, which is very pungent nose. The smell is the smell of bats. Late in the afternoon, the bats flew out of the trees to find food. Flock of bats will be back at dawn, with a roar as if to wake the people to do the dawn prayers and perform dayli activities.

        Secondly, another story of Soppeng, we can find tour places. For example sights of natural bath OMPO, CITTA, BANGA, LERENG HIJAU, and the most famous is the hot water bath LEJJA. Lejja is the hot spring that lies inside the forest of the mountain on Soppeng. I usually go there for spending my time with my friends or my family. The air around Lejja are so fresh , so Lejja is a right choice for holiday, we can fresh our mind by spending the time in Lejja .

        Thirdly, in the past, Soppeng is a royal city with the power and influence that is wide enough. Dont be fooled, a lot of historical relics which can be found in this city. You can see the “Bola Ridi” or in english “Yellow House” which is a place to store attributes Soppeng Kingdom. There is also the Tomb complex Jera Lompoe, where you can find the tomb of the king .

        In conclusion, if you want to go Soppeng, you will see many beautiful places. Whether the object of tour, view bats in the heart of the city, historic sites, customs, and response all of Soppeng people are so Friendly. Therefore,you should spending your time to visit my hometown .
