Pray for Japan

The scholars define disaster as "any unwelcome what happens in humans". The accident, however small will not happen except by permission of Allah. Because Allah says in Q.S. At-Taghabun: 11, "Nothing that happened to someone musibahpun except with the permission of Allah, and whoever believes in Allah, He will give instructions to his heart. And Allah knows all things. "
Therefore, whatever misfortune that befall us, must be addressed in the right way. Disaster, whatever its form, is part of its provisions. What we must do is keep assume good faith in God and believe that Allah wills will NEVER evil of His servants.
Islamic Law to his people when calamity strikes, both large and small to always say the statement back to God, namely "Innaa Lillaahi wa Innaa illaihi raaji'uun " which means "Truly we belong to Allah and unto Him we return."
This sentence, has a deep theological meaning. This sentence implies the meaning of monotheism, that we belong to God and everything is His. Therefore, we will never really lose, because we never have. So, a loss, is not lost, but returned to the owner. If the owner is still willing, something that is missing is "mandated" to us, God willing, will somehow return. If not, God willing, there are a lot of wisdom behind all forms of loss.
Wisdom is the greatest chance of vanishing of sin because the calamities that befall us, if accepted with sincerity and patience. Prophet said, "It is not a Muslim stricken with a thorn of pain or anything, except God shed his sins like a tree that shed leaves." (Narrated by Bukhari)
Then, said sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taimmiyah, disasters which befall man is a pleasure, because the elimination of sin and error asbab calamities that befall the great pleasure. And God was saying, "... And give glad tidings to those who wait, (that) those who, when calamity strikes, they said" Innaa Lillaahi wa Innaa illaihi raaji'uun "(Verily Allah we belong and unto Him we came back). Those who obtain forgiveness and mercy from their Lord, and they are the ones who receive guidance. "(Q.S. Al-Baqoroh: 155-157).
So there are 3 things that God promised to His servants, when calamity strikes, then be patient, Allah will give Mercy, Mercy, and instructions.
